What It Is
Summer Night Lights activates parks and community spaces during evening hours to create safe, welcoming environments for youth and families.
The program offers recreation, sports, arts and cultural activities, and access to community resources. By providing consistent, positive programming during high-risk hours, Summer Night Lights helps reduce opportunities for violence while strengthening community connection.
Neutral Ground plays a key role in engagement, relationship-building, and ensuring that youth who attend are connected to ongoing support where needed.
The program is not just about activity - it is about visibility, safety, and creating spaces where community members feel supported and connected.
