Eight programs.
One community.
From boxing to restorative circles, from street outreach to school campuses — our programs meet Orange County youth and families wherever they are.
Youth Violence
Prevention
Our flagship program places credible messengers — community members with lived experience of violence — directly in the streets and systems where crisis happens. When violence erupts in a neighborhood, at a hospital, or in a school, NG's YVP team responds.
This isn't reactive policing or passive programming. It's active, trusted, relationship-based intervention by people who carry credibility that no outside professional can replicate.
🏙️ Street Outreach
YVP workers are embedded in high-need neighborhoods, building relationships before a crisis and showing up when one occurs. This proactive presence is the foundation of community trust.
🏥 Hospital-Based Intervention
When a young person arrives at the hospital following a violent incident, NG's team is there — connecting with the individual and their family at the moment they're most open to change.
⚖️ Conflict Mediation
From neighborhood disputes to escalating situations between groups, NG mediators step in as trusted neutrals with the credibility to de-escalate and chart a path forward.
🔗 Service Connection
Every crisis is also an opportunity to connect people to longer-term support — housing, employment, counseling, education, and more through NG's partner network.
Neutral Ground
Boxing Club
Boxing isn't just sport — it's structure, discipline, mentorship, and identity. The Neutral Ground Boxing Club uses the rigor and ritual of boxing training as a vehicle for young people to build resilience, confidence, and positive relationships.
For many of our participants, NGBC is the first place they've experienced consistent expectation and consistent support at the same time. That combination is transformative.
🥊 Structured Training
Daily and weekly training schedules build the habit of showing up — one of the most important skills a young person can develop. Coaches are trained mentors, not just athletes.
💪 Fitness & Mental Wellness
Physical conditioning and mental health are deeply connected. The gym becomes a safe space to process stress, channel energy, and develop emotional regulation.
🎓 Life Skills Programming
Integrated workshops cover goal-setting, financial literacy, conflict resolution, and career exploration — connecting the discipline of the ring to life outside it.
🎬 Community Events
The NGBC Documentary Screening and community events celebrate participants, build public awareness, and invite the broader Orange County community into NG's world.
Restorative
Circles
Restorative practices start with a radical premise: that harm can be addressed without punishment, and that healing requires the participation of everyone affected — not just the person who caused harm.
NG's Restorative Circles program brings this philosophy to school campuses and community settings, creating structured spaces where truth is spoken, accountability is held, and relationships are repaired.
⭕ Community Building Circles
Proactive circles that build connection, establish norms, and create the relational foundation that makes a school community feel safe before conflict ever arises.
💜 Healing Circles for Children of Incarcerated Parents
One of NG's most distinctive offerings — structured support for the often-invisible population of children navigating life with a parent behind bars. These circles break stigma, build belonging, and support resilience.
🏫 School-Based Restorative Discipline
Partnering with school administrators to shift from punitive suspension-based discipline to restorative processes that keep students in school and address root causes.
Nati's
House
Nati's House is a community healing space — a physical and relational anchor for youth violence prevention programming and community support services. Built on the principle that people need a place to come home to, Nati's House provides consistent presence, resource access, and community.
Monthly check-ins with the Latino Coalition and CBRI ensure that NG stays accountable and connected to the broader ecosystem of community partners.
🏠 A Place to Belong
For young people and families who've experienced instability, simply having a consistent, welcoming space matters enormously. Nati's House is that anchor point.
🛡️ Prevention Programming
Workshops, events, and services designed to strengthen protective factors before violence occurs — building skills, relationships, and hope.
🤝 Community Accountability
Monthly check-ins with the Latino Coalition and CBRI keep Nati's House connected, accountable, and integrated with the full community support network in Orange County.
Re-Entry
Services
Coming home from incarceration should be the beginning of a new chapter — not the beginning of a new struggle. NG's Re-Entry Services program wraps returning citizens with the support, advocacy, and practical resources they need to rebuild their lives.
Our team doesn't judge the past. We focus on the future — employment, stable housing, family reconnection, and long-term community reintegration.
💼 Employment Readiness
Resume support, interview coaching, employer connections, and job placement assistance — with partners who understand that a record shouldn't define someone's future.
🏡 Housing Navigation
Stable housing is the foundation of everything else. We connect returning citizens to housing options, rental assistance, and support in navigating housing with a justice background.
👨👩👧 Family Reunification
Helping returning citizens rebuild relationships with their families — especially their children — is central to long-term stability and community healing.
📋 Case Management
Every participant is assigned a case manager who coordinates across employment, housing, legal, health, and family needs — removing the fragmentation that causes people to fall back through the cracks.
Case
Management
Every young person and family we serve deserves a dedicated advocate in their corner — someone who knows their story, tracks their progress, and coordinates the full range of support they need.
NG's Case Management program is the connective tissue of our organization. Case managers maintain individualized service plans, document interactions, facilitate referrals, and ensure no one gets lost in the system.
📝 Intake & Assessment
Every participant enters through a structured intake process that captures their needs, goals, strengths, and history — so services can be tailored from day one.
📚 Academic Support
For school-age participants, case managers coordinate academic advocacy, tutoring connections, and communication with school staff to keep education on track.
👨👩👧 Family Strengthening
Families are partners in the work — not obstacles. Case management actively engages family members, strengthens protective relationships, and addresses family-level needs.
🔗 Referral Network
NG maintains an extensive referral network across mental health, housing, legal aid, healthcare, employment, and community services in Orange County.
Summer
Night Lights
Community safety is built through presence and belonging — not just enforcement. Summer Night Lights activates public spaces during summer evenings, the time when community violence statistics historically spike, and replaces danger with celebration, connection, and community.
In partnership with the City of Santa Ana, NG brings programming, food, recreation, and resources to neighborhoods that need them most.
🌙 Evening Activation
Programming begins at dusk and continues into the evening — deliberately occupying the hours when violence is most likely to occur, replacing risk with community vitality.
🎪 Recreation & Cultural Programming
Sports, games, music, and cultural programming that celebrates community identity and brings multigenerational participants together in shared space.
🍽️ Food Distribution
Food security is a safety issue. Summer Night Lights provides meals and connects families to food resources during a season when school lunch programs are unavailable.
📋 Resource Fairs
Service tables connect families to housing, healthcare, employment, and social services — making every event both celebration and access point.
School Site
Programs
Schools are the center of a young person's world — and they're also where the seeds of violence, disconnection, and dropout are most visible. NG's on-campus programs embed prevention and intervention specialists directly into school communities across five districts.
We partner with administrators, counselors, and teachers to build school climates where every student feels seen, supported, and capable of success.
